I recently installed two Palet kitchens in Toronto and was impressed with the cabinetry.
I've worked in millwork and have been installing kitchen cabinets for over 30years, and I can say certain quality details stood out to me, from the thick cabinet backs to the wood dovetail drawer boxes, everything was very well built and sturdy.

One kitchen was a painted kitchen and one was a melamine woodgrain kitchen, and I thought both finishes were done well. During installation, Andre and support were helpful and responsive too, which made the process quite smooth. Also supplied filler pieces for scribing and concealing duct work.
One tip for future orders: I’d add an extra inch or so on some end panels for scribing to ensure a perfect fit, as their standard sizes don’t account for this. Ultimately, good product and experience and I'll look to get their cabinets again.

I was doing a full home renovation and didn’t know much about kitchens. I had done a quick design using the 3D Ikea kitchen design tool but I didn’t like any of the finishes IKEA was offering. I was thinking of getting Bokea custom fronts for Ikea boxes, but then I discovered Palet which I found out handled not just custom fronts but the whole cabinet too - and at a much higher quality than Ikea. When I contacted Palet, I got really good customer service right from the start to help with my order. The site explained different options for the cabinet door styles, and we were able to quickly see the full cost online before purchase.

My father in law, who is a cabinet maker, said that the Palet cabinets were very well made when they arrived. I also liked that they were delivered pre-assembled, making our job of installation so much easier. Palet let us pick custom colours which was key for me - I went with a honey yellow for the uppers and deep brownish purple for the island and we love the result. One thing I wish they did was also sell the handle hardware. But I was able to source some vintage brass knobs on my own time.

Overall I would say the accessible prices, the excellent customer service and the quality Canadian craftsmanship is what I loved about Palet. It was no question that we would go with them again for my basement kitchen: 5/5.

The cabinets arrived fully assembled, painted, and in pristine condition. They were well packaged and I loved the “made in Canada” labels. The quality of the boxes, hinges and paint finish exceeded my expectations, allowing me to build the custom painted kitchen I always wanted while staying within my budget.

I was initially hesitant to order cabinets online, but their intuitive website, clear product images and customer service gave me the confidence to move forward with the order.

Once the cabinets arrive, the installation was easier than expected as the boxes came fully square and assembled. I only needed a drill, a level and a box of screws to mount the cabinets, which saved me money (and headaches) on install. If I were to order from Palet again, I would add on some extra painted trim pieces, as I used these in many places to create a sense of visual unity and cohesion within the room.

Overall I couldn’t be happier with my experience with palet and would highly recommend their products.

Model Living was organized, communicative and transparent. We planned a a big renovation for our kitchen. The entire project was so simple for us. Andre and Luciano answered all questions and made the process so smooth. We had prior advice from friends that a kitchen reno could be difficult but I can honestly say that was not the case with Model Living. And the final product is beyond what we imagined! When it was time to redo my kitchen, I was excited to learn about Model Living's new cabinetry offering since I had a great experience using them for my bathroom in the past. I already had a good idea of what I wanted, so their software made it easy to convert my sketch into a 3D model. This helped me to double-check all the measurements before placing my order. When everything arrived, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the cabinets and hardware. The labels and instructions were clear and made installation a breeze for me and my contractor. Overall I’m extremely pleased with my experience, especially because I saved a significant amount compared to going with a local shop.

We were a bit apprehensive about ordering cabinets online, but it turned out to be a great decision. They helped design the look and layout of the kitchen. Jeff and Jeff helped problem solve some issues we had about space and utility. They happily gave us flip up cabinets from their office line for a work counter space. They were always able to answer questions.

The quality of the cabinets is much better than ikea, but only amounted to $3000-$4000 more. We love the two tone white and blue. There were more customizable options for sizes and interior features. The hardware they chose matches perfectly (champagne gold).

Only reason why it's not a five star review is we experienced a 2-3 week delay, and the garbage drawer doesn't close properly. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars.

It was a true pleasure working with the Model Living team for my kitchen and powder room renovation. Each step of the process was clear, and the team was diligent in communicating changes or reiterating plans. I was initially nervous for cabinet selection, but was blown away by the quality of their selection, and ended up moving forward with the first cabinets suggested. The entire renovation was completed in the exact timeframe and budget quoted, with requested changes in scope accommodated happily. I would work with this team again in a heartbeat. 10/10 would recommend!

The kitchen design process was very easy. The suggestions provided turned out great. The quality of the cabinets seems very high, I've been very impressed so far. They look great, everything fits properly and closes smoothly. The products suggested look great and good options were provided, so I could stay within my budget. All of the crews and workers were respectful, I had no concerns with them being in my house. Great team, great experience.

The work that Model Living did was just simply amazing! My home is nearly 40 years old and the kitchen was definitely original and in serious need of an upgrade. I worked with Jeff extensively to make sure I got the kitchen I always wanted. He was very informative, give me options and let me decide. I never felt pressured or like I need to hurry up and move things forward. But most importantly, Jeff was patient. I probably changed my mind on my sink choice at least 5 times but not only did Jeff reassure me that whatever sink I chose would look good, he never made me feel like changing it was a bother. He was great. And when it came to construction, Luciano was just pleasant to work with and patient. There were a number of people who worked on my kitchen and no matter who I met from Model Living, they were all pleasant. The work was fantastic and I couldn't be happier with the final result.
