Terms of Use

These terms are effective from September 1, 2024.

These terms (hereinafter “Terms”) apply to consumer purchases of products on the website at PALETCABINETS.COM. Any reference to “you” or “yours” means you as a purchaser of our products via PALETCABINETS.COM.

Prices

Products are offered at the prices set forth on our website and you may choose to purchase Products through the https://www.paletcabinets.com website. PALET may limit or cancel quantities of Products purchased, and it reserves the right to refuse any order. In the event PALET needs to make a change to an order, it will attempt to notify you by contacting the email address, billing address, and/or phone number provided at the time the order was made. The prices displayed are quoted in Canadian currency and are valid only in Canada. Prices are subject to change at any time. Sales tax will be determined by the shipping address of the order and will automatically be added to the order. Purchased Products will be shipped to the shipping address of the order. Any payment terms presented to you in the process of purchasing Products are deemed part of these Terms.

Discount Code Accuracy Policy

By applying style customization discounts at checkout, you agree that PALET may review your order to ensure the applied discounts align with your product selections. If we find a mismatch, we’ll contact you to confirm any necessary pricing adjustments. This may result in a partial refund, additional charge, or—in rare cases—cancellation of the order.

We will never modify your order total without your consent. However, if we’re unable to reach you or resolve the issue within a reasonable time, PALET reserves the right to cancel and fully refund the order. Misuse of discount codes may also result in cancellation.

Order Confirmation

When you have placed an order, you will automatically receive an email receipt listing the products you have ordered.

Until you receive an order confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel your order in whole or in part, because of substantial price or text errors on the website or due to out-of-stock items. If this occurs, you will be notified per email.

Terms of Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other payment methods through Shopify Payments. We also offer financing options through Affirm.

All information is sent securely to PALETCABINETS.COM, using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) through an encrypted connection. This prevents any unknown and unauthorized sources from accessing customer information. We do not store customer credit card information after completing the transaction.

Shipping

PALETCABINETS.COM sends packages with a private shipping company in Ontario.

Delivery is charged per order based on your cabinet count and delivery distance within Ontario. We deliver to most areas in Ontario — review our Important Information About Your Order to confirm delivery to your location.

If you need to add items to your order — for example, if you missed something originally — additional delivery charges may apply. To order more items, contact our customer support team at support@paletcabinets.com.

The expected lead time varies depending on the products you order and is noted on each product page. Generally, you can expect a lead time of approximately 8 weeks for your cabinets to be ready for shipment from the manufacturing facility.

PALETCABINETS.COM accepts no responsibility for delays in shipping. Shipping times are a guide.

Refunds and Exchanges

PALETCABINETS.COM only offers refunds for orders canceled within 24 hours after purchase. After this 24-hour period, we cannot provide refunds or exchanges, except for scenarios covered under our Limited Warranty.

Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that your cabinets arrive in less than good condition, please get in touch with us immediately through our contact us page. To help us assess the issue, kindly send photographs of the product taken from various angles and distances. Each damage claim must also include the name of the product, the order number, and a description of the damage. For details on what constitues as damage or defects, please visit our Limited Warranty page.

Customers have seven (7) days from the date of delivery to report any damage. Furthermore, claims made with photos taken after installation will not be valid, as we cannot verify if any issues were caused during the installation process. We strongly recommend inspecting the product as soon as possible after delivery.

Changes to Terms of Service

PALETCABINETS.COM reserves the right to modify or change these Terms at any given time.

Any material changes will be communicated on the website and by email to all registered users.

Limited Warranty

PALETCABINETS.COM offers a Limited Warranty that covers the products purchased through our website at https://www.paletcabinets.com ("Products"). For full details on our Limited Warranty and making a claim, please visit our Limited Warranty page.

Limitation of Liability

PALETCABINETS.COM is responsible for product liability in accordance with the mandatory rules of the Consumer Protection Act, as part of Canadian law.

PALETCABINETS.COM is liable under Ontario law, but never for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, reliance, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, business interruption, reputational harm, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the PALET Parties harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages (actual and consequential), losses and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from or in any way related to any claims relating to (a) your use of the Services (including any actions taken by a third party using your account), and (b) your violation of these Terms. In the event of such a claim, suit, or action ("Claim"), we will attempt to provide notice of the Claim to the contact information we have for your account (provided that failure to deliver such notice shall not eliminate or reduce your indemnification obligations hereunder).

Data Privacy

When ordering from PALETCABINETS.COM, we will collect personal data regarding billing and shipping to fulfill the purchase agreement.

PALET is committed to providing a website that is accessible and navigable to all consumers. Miscellaneous

The failure of either you or us to exercise, in any way, any right herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder. If any provision of these Terms are found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated, to the minimum extent necessary, so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.You and PALET agree that these Terms are the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding between you and PALET, and that these Terms supersede and cancel all previous written and oral agreements, communications and other understandings relating to the subject matter of these Terms. You hereby acknowledge and agree that you are not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venture of PALET, and you do not have any authority of any kind to bind PALET in any respect whatsoever. You and PALET agree there are no third-party beneficiaries intended under these Terms.
